About Us

Allied Growers Ltd is a wholly-grower owned co-operative of British apples and pears. The Board of Directors is comprised solely of our grower members, and they meet regularly to decide on production, marketing and financial strategy. The Board represent the interests of all of our top-fruit growers.

In 2023 the Board of Directors made the decision to take back control of the marketing and selling of the fruit grown by its members, so we now have a small team who are responsible for managing and marketing the crop from blossom right through to despatch to the final customer.

My experience in the UK top fruit industry spans 20 years. I started my career as a Quality Controller for a small grower-packer and then moved to a marketing desk working with the technical team. At Allied Growers, I am committed to supporting each and every grower at every step of the production process, offering technical support where needed and helping them to get the best outcome for their orchard. It is so satisfying when I see Allied Growers’ fruit on the shelf in the retailer, still looking and tasting as good as when it was picked.

I’m proud to be part of the highly skilled team at Allied Growers, where the grower is at the core of everything we do.

With 10 years of experience in the fresh produce sector, I am extremely passionate about building strong relationships with both growers and customers. I love the energy and variety this sector brings – no two seasons (or days) are ever the same. I work closely with growers, retailers, and supply chain partners to make sure top-quality fruit reaches shelves across the UK. I am passionate about supporting British growers and being a part of an industry that’s constantly evolving. Whether it is planning for the season ahead, working through a challenge or spotting a new opportunity, I love being part of it.

I have 15 years’ experience within the soft fruit industry and have been involved with UK top fruit since 2023. My role within Allied Growers is to ensure the smooth transfer of fruit from orchard to packhouse for grading, and then from the packhouse through the supply chain to stores. I work closely with both the Technical and Commercial teams and have enjoyed building close relationships within our team, with our Allied Growers members, and with our retail supply chain partners.

As Order and Reconciliation Controller at Allied Growers, I’m responsible for the accurate processing and efficient reconciliation of orders, thereby ensuring a consistent and reliable flow of fruit from growers to customers. It is really gratifying to see how meticulous order management underpins the successful delivery of fresh produce. I take great pride in being part of a team that is committed to supporting fruit growers in the UK and ensuring precise execution and smooth teamwork throughout every stage of the process.
